An important part of the Association's life is sharing information about our history, our genealogical work, gatherings, among other items. Many times, we get queries from members or non-members about Ewing ancestors and possible family connections.
The Ewing Family Journal supports such discussions, along with research papers, and other matters in printed ("off-line") form. Letters to the editor or submissions of manuscripts are always welcome.
For more immediate discussion among the membership (and non-member friends), we also provide an on-line discussion forum through the EwingFamilyAssociation Google Group. Anyone may sign up, preferably using a free Google account.
- New feature: Go directly to the Forum. You can read all messages there, and you can post replies or new messages if you are logged in through Google.
- If convenient, you can also go to groups.google.com/group/ewingfamilyassociation to view current and past postings. Click the "+ new post" button to add your message, if you see it. Otherwise, click "Join this group" to get posting privileges.
- If you don't care to use a Google account, you may submit your question or comment via e-mail straight to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . E-mail submissions are carefully checked to prevent spam and then posted to the Forum.
We prefer that you join the group through the web site rather than using email, at least at first. That allows us to know who you are and to put you on the e-mail distribution.
